ANYbotics takes the protection of your data very seriously. This Privacy policy applies to the information and data collected by ANYbotics as a controller,  or through other channels as stated below, and describes how we collect, use, store, share, transfer, and process your personal information when you access and use our website and/or our products, software and services (altogether designated by our products and services). By accessing and using our products and services, you expressly acknowledge that we may collect and process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy policy.

1. How we collect your personal data

Personal data refers to any information that can directly or indirectly identify you, e.g. your name, address, e-mail address, company name, or user behaviour. Personal Information can also include information that you enter into on the ANYbotics website, and information about you that is available in platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Google.

1.1. Visiting our website

If you are only visiting our website for information purposes, i.e. you are not providing us with data in any other form, we only collect the data that your browser transfers to our web server. When you visit our website, we collect the following data(the legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR), in order to enable it’s display, stability and security:

  • IP address;
  • Geographical location;
  • Date and time of the enquiry;
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT);
  • Content of the inquiry (specific page);
  • Access status/HTTP status code;
  • Volume of data transferred;
  • Website the inquiry is made from;
  • Browser (e.g. Google Chrome);
  • Operating system and interface (e.g. Windows 10);
  • Language and version of the browser software.

1.2. Use of cookies

Our website also uses cookie technology. A cookie is a piece of information which is sent from our web server to your computer and stored on your hard drive as soon as you visit the website. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. We only use cookies to make our offering more user-friendly overall, and to collect statistical information about the use of our website. The legal basis for the use of cookies on our website is Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR. The following cookies are used:

1.2.1. Session cookies:

Session cookies (transient cookies) save a “session ID”, which is used to allocate different enquiries from your browser to the joint session. Your computer can then be recognised next time you visit our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

1.2.2. Persistent cookies:

Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified time, which varies from cookie to cookie. You can delete cookies in your browser security settings at any time. We only use persistent cookies for the purposes of analysis (see section 1.3 – Google Analytics).

1.2.3. Browser settings:

You can configure your browser settings as you wish and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that this could mean you will not be able to make optimum use of all the functions of this website.

1.3. Use of Google Analytics

1.3.1. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). The cookies used by Google Analytics allow us to analyse the way you use our website. This allows us to evaluate user behaviour on our website and use the statistics we gather to make our offer more attractive. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR.

1.3.2. By using the IP anonymization process (anonymizeIp) we have activated, Google first cuts the end off every collected IP address within the European Union. This means that any data collected about you that could identify you is immediately barred and the personal data deleted.

1.3.3. IP addresses transmitted from your device for Google Analytics purposes will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the collection and processing of the information generated by the Google cookie by deactivating storage of cookies in your browser or device settings.

In addition, you can stop Google collecting and processing data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing a browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

In the exceptional event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

1.4. Forms

We also collect personal data from you if you disclose this to us in order to use one of the services we offer (e.g. ordering information material or other enquiries (e.g. when you subscribe to our newsletter, when you request information about our products and services, when you subscribe to a webinars, or request customer support.):

1.4.1. When you contact us (via the contact form, by e-mail or by other means), we collect the information you give us, such as your first name, last name, e-mail address, company name, industry, IP address and subject, so we can process your enquiry. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1(b) GDPR. 

1.4.2. As part of our operation of the website we also use Hubspot, LinkedIn or Facebook, which may place cookies on your device in order to provide you with personalized advertisements based on your interaction with our website and to provide us with statistical data. The privacy policies of those providers are applicable in relation to their activities. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

2. How we process your personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with the Swiss data protection law, to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or its equivalent in the United Kingdom, using computers or computer tools, in line with the purposes set out in this Privacy policy.

2.1. In addition to the uses identified elsewhere in this Privacy policy, we may use your personal data to:

  • process orders and payments for our products and services;
  • contact you and answer to your queries;
  • develop and improve our products and services;
  • improve your browsing experience;
  • promote use of our services, and share promotional and informational content with you in accordance with your communication preferences;
  • contact you about billing, account management, and other administrative matters;
  • send information to you regarding changes to our Privacy policy (including the Cookie Policy), or other legal agreements;
  • investigate and help prevent security issues and abuse;
  • meet legal requirements.

2.3. We will never sell your personal data to any third party.

3. Data storage

3.1. Length of storage

Unless otherwise specified, your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the reason for storing it no longer applies. It may be stored for a longer period if this is required by rules to which we are subject, if further storage is necessary to safeguard legitimate interests, or if you have given us your consent. Data is also blocked or deleted if a statutory storage period expires unless there is a continuing need for the data to be stored in order to conclude or fulfill a contract.

4. How we share your personal data

We only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the operation of our services, if there is a legal obligation or permission to do so, or if there is a legal obligation or permission to do so.

4.1. Third parties

We may disclose your personal data to third parties in connection with the operation of our services or business activities, and IT service providers, cloud service providers, database providers, automated marketing solutions providers and consultants, including Google Cloud, Hubspot, and the other providers mentioned in our Privacy policy.

If you sign up for the events organized by ANYbotics, our service providers will have access to the information required to guarantee their services. In this context, we currently use Hubspot and Zoom Webinar. Their privacy statement is applicable.

4.2. Resellers

We collaborate with partners distributing our products and services (our Resellers), which may send us information about their customers such as name, company, industry, contact information, product or service purchased. We also send such information to Resellers for the purpose of them giving information on our products and services to you locally.

This Privacy Notice does not address how our Resellers collect and use your personal data. If you would like to make any requests or queries regarding your personal data, please contact such Reseller(s) directly. 

4.3. Links to other websites

On some pages of our website, we link to other websites, or provide the opportunity to share content via “share buttons”. Please note that this Privacy policy does not apply to these other sites. Please visit these sites directly to find information about data protection

5. How we transfer your personal data

We store your personal data on servers that may be located in Europe or in the U.S. In connection with the operations of Third parties (section 4.1.), your personal data may be made available to recipients located outside of your geographic location (for example, Google, Linkedin, Facebook, and Hubspot are all headquartered in the U.S, where some data may be available).

6.1. Your rights

In your dealings with us, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

  • Right to information
  • Right to correction or deletion
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data transferability

6.2. You may unsubscribe or update your communication preferences by clicking on the “unsubscribe” or “manage my contact information” link located at the bottom of our emails.

6.3. You also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator about our processing of your personal data, especially in the member state in which you live or work, or in which the alleged infringement took place.

7. Updates to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be subject to change. Any changes or additions to the processing of personal data as described in this Privacy Policy affecting you will be communicated to you through an appropriate channel, depending on how we normally communicate with you (including by email and/or via our website (e.g. banners, pop-ups or other notification mechanisms). If you do not agree to the changes made, you must stop accessing and/or using the impacted products and services.
