All-in-One Actuator

ANYdrive is a fully integrated robotic joint combining motor, gear, and electronics with position, speed, and torque sensing in one device.

Precise Torque Control

The integrated mechanical spring enables accurate and drift-free torque sensing and tracking for robots with a sense of touch.

Custom electronics and embedded control are tailored to provide maximal performance with extensive access to user settings. ANYdrive also integrates an IMU and temperature sensing, real-time data logging, and internal data storage.

The electric motor is optimized for power density and efficiency, combined with an advanced thermal design. Driven by the custom motor control, fast dynamics are achieved while minimizing torque ripples. A strain wave gear provides a backlash-free transmission.

ANYdrive is built on the Series Elastic Actuator (SEA) principle, where a compliant element is leveraged for force sensing and impact absorption. The novel spring design provides precise torque sensing and collision resistance without sacrificing position control performance, reliability, or lifetime.

ANYdrive's enclosure not only protects from water and dust ingress (IP67), but is also constructed for high load bearing capabilities in all directions. Mechanical features allow for precise front and side mounting, eliminating the need for calibration. The hollow shaft enables optimal cable routing.
